2. Were you using the copper-only or the Mirena? If it was copper only, you'll most likely get pregnant fairly quickly (since you were not being prevented from ovulating). If it was Mirena, the hormones might take a little bit to get out of your system, but I would say not more than probably a month or two before your fertility returns to pre-IUD levels.
