YAZ Birth Control Side Effects?

My doctor prescribed me Yaz birth control. I am afraid of side effects, due to the last time I was on a birth control called Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo. It made me really depressed and moody constantly and made me gain weight. Please let me know if you have taken it or know of any side effects besides the obvious. Yes, I know everyone's bodies are different and react differently, but I am just curious how common some of the side effects are. Thanks!

1. Wow! You got depressed on Tri-cyclen Lo... so did I (not too fun of a coincidence... but nonetheless). And when I spoke to my doctor about it, she said it wasn't because of the birth control. I asked the pharmacist, he said he'd never heard of severe depression from Tri-cyclen (and in my case, extreme severe depression, which is extremely out of my character). Yet, in the side affects area it literally says "in case of severe depression, contact your doctor immediately". Well... so much for that. Sooo... my dilemma is that they prescribed me the same thing, but not the "Lo". I dunno whether to use it or not. I'm also curious about Jasmin.
2. YAZ has minimal side effects for me. No weight gain. No bloating . ETC...
