is it normal to have long periods while taking Seasonale birth control?

when i had sex with my bf, i had just started using my birth control. Now, a month later, I'm on my period, and my pillls aren't on the active pills yet. I've had my period for almost a month and I'm getting really frusterated becuase I don't know if it's normal to have prolonged periods while on birth control. please someone help!!

1. Yes because your body is still trying to get use to the medication in the pills it makes every one body act different.
