Has anyone used Seasonale Birth Control?

what were you experiences with it? why were you taking it. I have really bad periods and thought it would be easier to only have four a year than 12 a year. However, about 3 weeks before it is due I get all the symptoms of pms. I have ppms or whatever it is anyway. I'm thinking of just not taking anything. My tubes are tied so it's not like I'll get prenant. Thanks for any help you can give me.

1. I took it for my endometriosis since my periods are extremely long and painful. It did not help me at all. I took it for 30 days and bled the entire time. I had severe mood swings, depression,and a decreased sex drive. My doctor took me off it. Some women love it. Just like any birth control pill the side effects vary for each person.
2. I had thought about it, but the chemical construction was too similar to a different pill I'd taken a while back with bad side effects, so I decided against it. I use YAZ for my PMS symptoms and because I've started perimenopause; my periods went from 10 days on my other pill to 2 days of spotting, and my PMS and menopause symptoms seem to have tapered off considerably. Try talking to your doc about switching to YAZ. Yes, you MIGHT still have 12 periods, but they won't be ANYTHING like what you've had previously.
