can birth control affect your pregnancy or give effect of your period while pregnant?

Now i been wondering, I know its a possibility to have your period during pregnancy but lets say you were pregnant and didnt know it, you began taking birth control pills. My question is although you may be pregnant can the pills actually bring on some sort of blood that creates the effect of your menstrual? Or will it affect the baby? 1. you shouldnt eat the pill when pregnant
  2. Hormones are not good for your baby, period!
  3. Birth control pills while pregnant are not good for the fetus, that is for sure. It is possible that the pills will bring on your cycle and give you your period, even if your pregnant.. If you were to have some bleeding in early pregnancy like around 2 to 2 1/2 months it is possible ovulation took place late in a cycle and that you are having implantation bleeding. You can ovulate the first month of taking the pill because your body isn't used to the hormones yet. That is why they suggest using alternate birth control for a month. If you are concerned you could try a pregnancy test, or go talk to your doctor. The other thing is that you can have some bleeding, like a menstrual cycle because your body is adjusting to the pills, even mid cycle, and this should be reported to your doctor if it continues, you will need a change in either type or dose of pills.
  4. Birth control helps for not getting pregnant so it is definitely not good for your baby.I would stop taking it because it could really hurt the baby and your hormones.
