I have a question about Birth control and pregnancy.?
I started my last period on Dec 16th and since then I have missed two of my birth control pills and on both of those days had unprotected sex with my husband and he did not pull out. What are my chances of being pregnant? I forgot to take them a few days ago...both of them...and the days that I forgot to take them are the days that I had unprotected sex.

- it depends what days you missed your pills on. But anytime you have unprotected sex you can get pregnant.
- Anytime that you have unprotected sex you have a chance of getting pregnant. But the fact that you are on the pill you might have a chance of it still being in your system. So you need to look at when you missed your pills and how long after you had sex. Wait a little while and take a pregnancy test if you don't get your period.
- Your risk of becoming pregnant after missing pills depends on how many pills you've missed in a row, how many you've missed earlier in the pack, and where you are in your cycle. Check the instructions that come with your pills. Here are some guidelines for protecting yourself:. If you miss two pills in a row anytime during the first two weeks of your pack, take two pills as soon as you remember and another two pills on the following day. After that, resume taking your pills as usual. Use a backup method for the next seven days. You might have some spotting during this cycle. If you miss two pills in the third week of your cycle or three or more pills during any of the three weeks of active pills, start a new pack of pills as soon as you realize you've forgotten pills and discard the partially used pack. Take one pill daily and use a backup method of contraception for seven days. By the way, there is no danger to the baby even if you do become pregnant on the pill as long as you stop taking the pills after the second trimester. If you miss your next period, take a pregnancy test.
