Birth control/pregnancy help?

I'm taking birth control pills called Seasonique (the generic of Seasonale) so I only have 4 periods a year. On Monday, I started taking the pink pills which is when i was supposed to start my period. Well, I haven't started yet but my boyfriend and I had sex earlier today and there was blood on the condom, but when I went to use the bathroom, I wasn't bleeding. My period is like 4 days late and I don't know if that could be because I missed taking my pills for a few days and I just took them the next day or what. I called my boyfriend earlier to tell him I was worried about it and he said I should give it a couple days because it might just be because I missed my pills and if I still haven't started, we'll get a pregnancy test. I have cramps and all the other symptoms I have during my period, I'm just not bleeding. On the days I missed taking them, I didn't have sex and I took them right when I realized I forgot. Also, my doctor told me that Seasonique is a generic of Seasonale so I'm going by her words. I started my period today so I'm not pregnant. Thanks for your answers though.

1. You missed taking your pills? Yes, you can be pregnant. Or your body is just not used to having a period, you may not even have it. But yeah, get a test!!
2. Don't freak out. First of all seasonique is not a generic equivalent to seasonale, they are made by the same people the only difference is seasonique has hormones in the period pill. This could be why you are not having a period.
