Anyone taking the new birth control pill Lybrel and experiencing weight gain & fatigue?

I have been on it for about 8 weeks now. No spotting, no period but I have pregnancy symptoms. I am a little afraid to take a test but wondered if anyone else had side effects from this pill.

1. Yes, this can be from the pill. When taking the pill (such as Lybrel or other brands where you skip the placebo pills) it can cause symptoms making one think they are pregnant. They call this pseudopregnancy (a fake pregnancy). It can take time to adjust to being on medication like this. The time it takes is about 6 months because of the fact that one is not breaking for a period. I would recommend talking to your doctor as well to see what they say.
