How easily can i get pregnant if im on the birth control shot? And if its unprotected sex.?

I am currently on the birth control shot and when i have sex its unprotected. Does anyone know how easily i can get pregnant? I know its like 99.9% effective against pregnancy, but isn't that only if you are using a condom??

It caused her to lose all of her hair and her teeth came out. She is now on birth control pills. If it causes that many problems then I would not want to use the shot for birth control. It's a shot you get every 3 months and after you get off the shot it could take up to 18 months for the shot to get out of your system when you are ready to have a baby. Its actually not recomended people who wants to have kids take the shot. it's hard to have a baby when you are ready.
