Birth control side-effects and brazilian waxing (see details)?

I am highly interested in getting a brazilian wax, since shaving my pubic hair always leaves hair in an undesired place that I am too paranoid about nicks to shave on my own (right above the clitoris). However, one of the side effects of my birth control is random spotting -- this makes me paranoid about going to a salon too, because I never know when spotting will occur! Should I just nix the idea of a brazilian and stick to shaving, or is there any advice someone could offer me?

1. Get a new birth control, or just go to a salon where you can turn up or book really soon in advance
2. I'm SURE the Brazilian wax ladies have seen it ALL! Your problem won't be unusual. ALL women have vaginal discharge, anyway. But to minimize the issue, why don't you schedule it for a time when you can shower shortly beforehand?
3. im sure if u start spotting right in the middle of it theyll tell u and you can put a tampon in for them to finish the job- it wont kill u to have a tampon in for an hour while spotting
