Question about birth control/pregnancy?
So I do understand that no type of birth control is 100% accurate but the pill is very effective to prevent pregnancy while on it if you take it right. But there is still that chance that you can get pregnant. I also have read and heard from many people that birth control pills can be harmful to a baby if you are pregnant. So my question is how do you know to stop taking it if you dont know for sure your pregnant? I'm suppose to get my period on the 22nd and Yesterday I had unprotected sex and i did today as well both times he finished inside of me. And then we didnt clean it out and just layed down for a bit. So I'm a little worried that I might have concieved (seeing as how today would be my most fertile day if for some reason I was ovulating) If I have concieved it would be a blessing But I don't want to stop taking my pills but also I don't want to potentially harm the baby.. So how do you know when to stop taking them for sure? Ah sorry i should clarify I'm suppose to get my period jan. 22. I just don't know whether or not to stop taking my pill incase somehow i end up pregnant I just don't know how much damage if any they could do before I know if i missed my period... and if i am pregnant it will be a blessing so I don't really worry about a second back up protection. Its not about wanting the kid. Im basically on birth control to control my periods which are usually irregular. If Im pregnant then im insanely happy. But I'm not trying to get pregnant if that makes sense

- go see a doctor or take a pregnancy test, but its best to see your doctor
- just stop taking them, get a pregnacy test, when you find out if its pozsitive or negative you can continue taking the pills or not.
- your i a f uck up posision think you have to go with your got feelling good luck
- Do you have your period every month? Some birth control pills keep you from having your period every month. If you think you may be pregnant, wait until you normally would have your period (if you don't have it every month) and take a home pregnancy test. If you are that worried about becoming pregnant, then he needs to start wearing a condom as well. No form of contraceptive is 100% foolproof, even surgery. That's why it is recommended that you use both birth control, and a condom.
- wow!!! this a very very good question!!! To be honest I cant answer it either, Id say the best thing to do would be ask a DR, not some online idiot's who could stir you the wrong way,,,sorry for saying that but just because of the advise u get!! Bless U hope it all works out!!
- i dont understand. do you want the kid or do you dont want the kid? take the morning after pill?
- Have you had the following symptoms: difference in menstruation, swollen or tender breasts, fatigue, nausea, morning sickness, back or head aches. Or you may not feel any of these symptoms at all the best thing you could do is do and get a pregnancy test as soon as possible. God bless you I hope everything turns out for the best.
- keep taking your pills like normal till you finish your pack and have your period. If you miss your period then you know you are pregnant. The pill isnt 100% effective but it is like 98-99% so i wouldnt worry about it if you take your pills like your supposed to.
- Defiitely quit taking it if your hurt ing the possible baby. See a doc
