  3. Oh hun, you need to see a doctor asap!!! Some pregnant women never get a positive result from a home-pregnancy test, they are not 100% effective (*be sure to remember with home tests, you need to take them in the morning with your first urine). Since you have not had you period in four months, and you and your boyfriend don't use protection, chances are, you are pregnant. You aren't getting morning sickness because only 50% of women actually experience nausea or vomiting. I just had my daughter 8 weeks ago and I did not feel nauseous ever! Also, is you are chunky to begin with, you may not notice any change in your body until you are 4-6 months pregnant. If you are 4 months pregnant now, you just started the second trimester, which means the baby is 3.98 inches long and only 2.5 ounces, so you probably won't feel him/her and you definitely won't see any movement for a while. This being said, you definitely need to see a doctor. If you have been pregnant for 4 months, you've already missed some very important prenatal care like blood work for your own health, an ultrasound to check for deformities, the test for Down Syndrome, and of course a vaginal exam. Next month you will be tested for Gestational Diabetes, in another month you need to be tested for Group B Strep, and the tests just keep coming until the birth of your baby. Without these tests, your baby could suffer…. Let me share an example of why prenatal care is so important…. I had Gestational Diabetes, and if I didn't catch it early, my baby could have been born extremely large or worse! Mothers with diabetes run the risk of having a blind or deaf child, or even having a stillbirth! Monitoring my pregnancy and taking needed insulin allowed me to have a perfectly healthy 7 pound daughter! Please for the sake of that baby you might be carrying, go see a doctor! =)
  4. Have a blood test done at the doctors this will tell you for sure! I didnt get my period for several months and found out it was due to the fact that i dont ovulate!
