Can I get Pregnant while on the pill?

I have been taking Lybrel for 3 months, I havent had a period in two months...I just started getting bad preg. symptoms, like nausea, fatigue, moodiness (it has been every day for like 2 weeks). I did miss one pill a few weeks ago but doubled up the next...I took a home test and it was negative. Could I be pregnant or are these just side effects of this new pill?? Thanks in advance for your answers and advice!!!

There is always that chance. Those could be preg symptoms or just pill symptoms. take a test.
It could be either one! NO birth control is 100% effective, but it could be side effects. You need to see a doctor!
they sound like side effects of the new pill. those are the same symptoms that i had while i was on the pill.
Of course you can! Nothing is fool-proof, even when taken according to directions. The pill is about 97-99% effective when taken properly, so always still a chance. pp

sometimes, those are just symptoms of being on the pill... but since you DID miss one, your chances are greater that you actually are pregnant. the best way to find out is take a pregnancy test and/or talk to your doctor. good luck! edit: easy: you obviously dont take birth control. if you miss it one day, you are SUPPOSED to take the pill you missed and the pill for that day the next day [basically doubling up]. though the chances of getting pregnant increase if you forget your pill one day. there are other guidlines too, like how many times you can forget your pill before you have to start a new pack. it all varies from pill to pill.
side effects. and NEVER DOUBLE UP ON MEDICATION!, That was irresponsible on your part and could have had some very serious effects upon your body. If you miss a pill. don't double up just take it next time when you are suppose to.

EASY----the directions for the pill ARE to double up if you miss one. Stick to answering the BOY questions that you actually have knowledge/expertise on. You can get pregnant on the pill especially if you miss a pill OR if you do not take the pill consistently at the SAME TIME EVERY day!!!!!!! Take a test and talk to your OB. GOOD LUCK!
Yes you can, I did. But it could also be symptoms of the pill aswell, when I started the pill I started having preggo symptoms and was freaking out. So it could be either. And when you miss a pill it doesn't do any good to double up, just an fyi.

Actually Easy, that's exactly what you're supposed to do if you miss a bc pill. The literature in every brand I've ever used says to do just that, up to 2 missed days, until you're back on schedule...... But anyway, yes, it is possible to get pregnant on the pill. Happened to me twice. The first time was because I had had a stomach virus, and they figure the pill didn't stay in my system long enough to take effect. Thankfully, my son was born perfectly healthy, with no ill effects. The second time, I was on Yaz, took every single one on time, religiously, and still got pregnant. I think that's what caused my miscarriage, but we'll never be 100% sure. More likely though, it's just side effects from the new pills. You should still call your doctor, just to be sure. I have gotten pregnant with three of my little ones while being on birth control..the first two were conceived on ortho trycyclenand the third I do not remember..I would wait a few more days and test again or go see my doctor..good luck and I hope this helps!!
Yes u cant get pregnant, especially if you are taking antibiotics along with the pill. They counteract each other so if you are taking antibiotics , the pill wont work, that's how my mom got prego with me. Go to the doctor ad get checked out
