Am I pregnant?

I have been on Lybrel (birth control pill that eliminates your period all together) and I haven't taken my pills for a couple of weeks because they are so expensive and I can't afford them. So I have been having my period. I had sex, without protection, and we used the "pull-out" method. I'm 17 and I had gotten pregnant once before while taking Lybrel.

  1. There's always a posibility since you had unprotected sex. I have many friends who's parents used the "pull out" method. That method does not work.
  2. The pull out method can't not guaranty anything. There'll still be some sperms "leaked" in the process. But at your age, the chance of getting pregnant after unprotected sex during fertile days is only 26%. So you may not be pregnant. But I will suggest you to have a pregnancy test if your period doesn't come.
  3. wow! no offense, but any 17 year old who has ALREADY gotten pregnant on a birth control pill should know to either use a better one, use protection, or stop doing it! duhh, sometimes i just odnt understand why people are so horny!
  4. it's a possibilty but, you obviously wont know until you take a pregnancy test. Anytime after going off of a birth control you are able to get pregnant. but, it you were on your period at the time, it is less likely,. best of luck. if you want to email me its nikkianne2007@yahoo.com
  5. Well DUH! If you stop taking birth control, you have to stop having sex (or have your bf wear a condom)! I mean, come on...what world do you live in??? And who told you that pulling out was a 'method' of birth control??? Your bf?? Pulling out is a method of GETTING PREGNANT....everyone (at least everyone who is having SEX) knows that a man leaks some sperm during sex before reaching climax....so unprotected sex, even if he says he didn't ejaculate can get you pregnant. Seems like the pills are less expensive than another kid....... And poplar, where did you get 26% from? The odds are more like 50% - 70% likely. At 17 the human female is at peak for childbearing. The human species originally didn't live that long, so when menstration began at 13 or 14, shortly after their bodies were ready to bear children, adn by 17 they were in their prime child bearing years, up through 26 or so. We have lengthened that period with better living conditions and medical care. My point is at 17 odds are very HIGH that unprotected sex will result in pregnancy.
