switching from seasonale to lybrel?

my dr is considering switching me from seasonale to lybrel the seasonale is working great never had too much spotting at all I've been on it about 2 and a half years but my periods are still painful she says lybrel u have no periods, I hear there's alot of breakthrough bleeding but I never really had any so I was wondering since I had no spotting on seasonale that I was most likely not going to have any on the lybrel thanks

1. If you didn't have any spotting on Seasonale, then you should be fine with Lybrel. And if you did get some, it probably would be any more than once every few months.
2. I switched from Seasonale to Lybrel and it was a disaster! I had no spotting or breakthrough on 2 years of Seasonale. With Lybrel, it was spotting every 4th or 5th day at first, then like whole days of bleeding, sometimes like a real period for days at a time. I have switched back to Seasonale after only 3 months on Lybrel. I do not recommend Lybrel.
