What is the best kind of birth control to use for someone who gets lumps in her breasts?

My fiance has a history of forming non-cancerous lumps in her breasts. One thing that could have caused it is birth control. Therefore, she is kind of leary of taking birth control, so we always used condoms in stead. Are there any other women who have had this problem, and if so, do you know of any female birth control products that might not cause this to happen?

Try a combo of diaphram, spermicide EVERY TIME, and perhaps even a femidom or condom during particularly furtile periods. I know it's not as spontaneous, but nothing is less spontaneous than a baby. Irratic, for sure, but no tolerance of spontaneity at all. Special note to her, ALWAYS get a new diaphram each year. Never put it on while drunk OR you will find yourself a mommy like I did. I'm thrilled to be one, surprisingly, but sloppy diaphram use WILL result in "SURPRISES!!!". GL!!
