When should I start my new birth control pack if my period came on a Saturday?

Was on birth control but stopped taking it for a few months. Now I am trying to get back on but am confused on when i need to start my new pack of pills. (i used to get my period on wednesday so i would just start the pills that sunday) So should i start my new birth control pills tomorrow, or the following week?

2. My doctor told me to start the pills the following sunday after I got my period. So I would start takeing them tomm.
3. Usually birth control pills come with a row of placebo pills to take that'll allow you to have your period, but won't serve as birth control. They're usually colored differently than the other rows of pills in the pack. However, if you don't have those, start the new pack of pills right when your period ends.
