Umprotected sex while on the birth control shot, want to get pregnant?
I got the birth control shot Feb. 20th for the first time ever without consulting my significant other, now we want to start having children. We have sex at least once a day unprotected. I bleed on time in March as if it was my period but it was very light and lasted longer than usual. When I squeeze my nipples liquid comes out, can I get pregnant if I am on the shot and have unprotected sex so often?

- You might be pregnant if you didn't give the shot the required amount of days to start working (I'm not sure how long this is). You shouldn't try to get pregnant after having gotten the birth control shot, it is bad for the baby if you succeed.
- i have heard that others have gotten pregnant on the shot (by accident) i am not sure how common it is. however, it only is supposed to last 3 months (almost 2 of which you've gone through so i dont see the big deal.)
- basically you shouldnt but all contraceptives arent 100%
- Why are you asking these personal type of questions here? I think no one is is doctor here so its better to go to your doctor. He/She will guide you better
- you really should have discussed it with your partner, it is possible but only about 1 in every 100 will get pregnant, the liquid is prob summat to do with your hormones after having the injection. id consult a doctor if you really think you could be, but its more than likely just hormones. good luck x
- you are PROTECTED you took the birth control shot so having sex you are not going to get pregnant until it wears off.
- The birth control shot covers you for up to THREE months, if when those 3 months are up, before going to the next one, wait a couple of weeks nd have unprotected sex as often as you possibly can, this will increase your chances of getting pregnant. Once pregnant you should consult your doctor for your next shot. Hope that was helpful.
