i just got off the birth control shot and i am currently taking birth control pills now.?

But on the week when i am suppose to have a period, i have not had one for the past 2 months??? Is this an effect from the birth control shot. i ve been on the birth control shot for about 4 years off and on...

1. It could be from your body adjusting to the new combination of hormones...or you could be pregnant (it's unlikely, but it's always possible, even on the the shot or the pill). You might want to take a pregnancy test to rule out that option, and then go talk to your doctor.
2. your body could still be seeing the effects of the shot. I'm not trying to scare you, but, some women (like me) get a period right after the shots 3 month window, and others (that i know personally) can take up to 18 months. its just one of the side effects. just talk to your doc about it the next tI'me you go in. and bring up what i said and im sure she will tell you that for some it might take longer.
