How long will it take to have a period after getting off the birth control shot?

I've been off the shot(depo provera)for a month and a half now and I still haven't had a period. Is there something wrong?

I was on Depo Provera for about 4 years. When I went off it, it took about 3 months for my period to return. So no, I don't think anything is wrong. My ob-gyn said if I don't have one after about 3 months, then contact him.
OKAY, First thing you may or may not have a period. It has taken me 6 months to get a period and yet it isnt Normal! I have been on and off of it the last month and a half. You may also what to get checked out for Cyst on your Overys. I have one it is from the Shot! So i may take up to a year before you will get a NORMAL period again! Good Luck!
Mine returned to normal after only a few months, but then again, I bled most of the time I was on the shot. Hang in there.
