How long does it take to get pregnant after you stop taking the birth control shot, depo?

I was supposed to take a third shot on the 6th and Didn't. I have heard that women are very firtel after they stop taking it. I'm worried Because My boyfriend and I hade unprotected sex last week.

It really just depends on your body. After I stopped taking the shot it took me 18 months to get pregnant, and I miscarried. Then I got pregnant 3 months later and now she's a healthy 3 yr old. I have heard women say they are very fertile after getting off the shot, my friend got pregnant while on the shot, and I've heard other women say that they had the same problem I had and it took forever to get pregnant. If aren't ready to have a baby then you need to be on birth control or at the very least using a condom every time. You shouldn't be having unprotected sex at least until you are ready for that responsibility and married. Any time you have unprotected sex you could get pregnant. That is just my opinion, take it or leave it.

I was on it for 6 years and off now for a bit more than a year and still no luck.
First of all, you shouldn't be worried about having unprotected sex if you didn't get the shot. That is just asking for trouble. My doc told me that it would take almost a year after Depo to get preggo and i got preggo the 1st month off of it. So, it all depends on your body. Good Luck!!
it depends. Some women become pregnant easier and faster after being off BC and some people take at least 6-12 months to be able to conceive again..LIKE ME! it took me exactly 1 year to conceive again after being off BC
Took me almost 2 years . Depends on how long you took it for all together ,and also depends on your body getting back on track with your ovulation and all . Could take some time, but may I suggest using another form of BC until you know .
