What are the effects on a pregnancy if you took the birth control shot a little while ago, and now your preg?

Will the shot effect the baby in any way?..

1. no, u should b fine, if u got prego, then it is out of ur system enough not to effect the baby if it was out of ur system enough for u to get pregnant.
2. no when you use any form of bc you might experience an ectopic pregnancy; so you should consult your gyn to be safe. If you experience a pointing terrible pain in one of your ovaries, you might want to check with your doctor. If you stopped the shot, your baby must be fine and nothing to worry about, about any damage on him, you just have to know if the pregnancy is not ectopic. Good luck! ;D
