Lybrel? Experiences?

I was thinking about taking Lybrel, the appeal of having no period is great. However, how bad is the breakthrough bleeding? How long does it take to eliminate it? Lastly, is it sensitive as to when you take the pill (down to the hour?)

  1. I have never done Lybrel but have taken other brands of birth control pills in the same way that Lybrel is designed to have no periods. The breakthrough bleeding can be pretty heavy causing one to think that it's a period but it isn't. This bleeding can last for several months but when it starts to get too heavy let the doctor know so that they can help you figure out what to do next. Yes, it is as sensitive as other pills if you miss taking the medication on time over a period of several days. I have the link to a site that may help you find even more information.
