shouldnt guys have more responsibility with birth control methods than just a vasectomy or rubbers?
im just saying even up the responsibility between the sexes because women have way too many options and a lot of them are more harmful to us than helpful. shouldnt men have all the same options? women are not the only ones who can come home with a baby. and condoms arent all that safe either popping every time you turn around.

- Keep it in your pants!! Also known as abstinence!
- A vasectomy is 100% effective because it cuts the vein that directs the sperm down from the testies through the urethra and into the vagina. the only other thing I can think of is having the penis totally cut off like a eunich.
- Who cares? Take responsibilty for yourself and you won't have to worry about what other do.
- What are you suggesting??? About the only thing men can do is get a vasectomy or wear a "rubber."
- i hate this double standard crap girls are always putting on men...we are responsible enough to use a condom...if you don't want to risk getting pregant, don't spread your legs
- What kind of rubbers do you use that pop all the time?
- Whoa! What are you thinking? He can't get any more responsible for birth control than "just" a vasectomy! I just have to add this note to David T. Check your info before you post. A vasectomy cuts the vas deferens, the tube that carries the sperm from the testes to the prostate, not a vein. Castration produces a eunuch. The testicles are removed, not the penis.
- its not our job to do that stuff we just provide the pleasure
- "just a vasectomy"? surgically removing part of the sex organs you were born with is a pretty big deal. women have more birth control options because women give birth. we're the vessels (sp?) for bearing children, not men. what good would the morning after pill be for a man?
- Do you mean OPTIONS in birth control, because if a man has a vasectomy then he has taken responsibility.Yes, it would be good, but let's face reality..women are the ones that will face the biggest consequnces and therefore, women are the ones that are ultimatley responsible for using reliable birth control methods. Don't depend on the man to take the proper precautions. Protect yourself.
- Vasectomy is a more permanent way of birth control when a husband and wife think their family is complete. So that is very responsible thing for them to do. (its a lot easier for a man to have one then a women to have her tubes tied). Men can't get pregnant the women does, so the birth control was design for women to not get pregnant. Men just give us their sperm and they are being responsible by putting the condom on in the first place. With the birth control being harmfull, well all drugs can be harmful to the body, even with the side effect its not everyone gets them--some get the side effect some don't. The first time you take any kind of med you body needs to adjust to it.
- if you got a better suggestion for the fellas, then lets hear it, cause I don't see anything else out there for us than rubbers and the snip!!
- Well in theory I think that would be nice. But what all do you want to happen to the guy? I mean they don't have nearly as much equpiment as we do. We have cervix, and uterus and all that other stuff the egg and sperm has to flow through. And for us to even menustrate from. Guys just have like what their testicales and scrotums and the sperm and semen. I mean there is nothing more serious than a vasectomy for a guy other than if he was impotent. or sterile. Maybe even castration even, but still guys don't have anything in the ways of a complex reproductive system as women do. I mean all the pills and stuff we are to take are to stop eggs from doing this or that. Sperm doesn't necessarily die so easily unless with spermicide. So it wouldn't really make much sense to invent all these many different ways for guys to prevent pregnancy too. I think that be as much a waste of money as all these pills and patches. I say if people just used the condoms with a bit of lube as they tell you so they don't break during so much friction and using spermicides and stuff that should work just as great. Little bit of smart thinking goes a long way.
- Shouldn’t women not have sex with men that won’t take the responsibility? After all ladies you call the shots. You ultimately decide who is going to score with you. Any man that won’t get a vasectomy, or does not carry a condom, does not deserve sex. Yup it is that simple. Don’t tell me you can’t tell by the way he behaves long before you make it to the bedroom. It is pretty obvious. As long as men that are irresponsible continue to score, as often or more than those of us who are, the men will have no reason to be responsible. I had a vasectomy very young, and I still use condoms. I have never broken one. But, I also don’t buy the cheap ones. After all, it is only your life at risk. Why not buy the cheap ones? If condoms are that fragile would I have not broke a few by now? I am 41. Have you any idea how many I have used in my lifetime?
