Should I get the morning after pill or will me starting birth control be fine preventing pregnancy?

My boyfriend n I had sex while I have my period last nite and he didn't pull out and I haven't started my birth control yet but im starting them on sunday and I no they say it takes a month for the pills to start working should I just get the morning after pill or will me starting my birth control be fine and I don't have to worry about pregnancy?

1. If you were on your period, its probably pretty unlikely that you'll get pregnant, but maybe get the morning after pill just to be on the safe sife. Starting birth control after-the-fact is not going to change anything.
2. Since you were having your period it is very unlikely to get pregnant. What the “morning after pill” does, is actually to make you have your period and thus prevent a pregnancy before happening.
