Should i remove my birth control patch if im spotting?

This is my first time using any kind of birth control and the doctor said not to apply it until my first period, but i have I am currently wearing it now. Please help me soon!

2. You will be fine. Don't take the patch off because you will just be wasting it. Wait, call your doctor's office in the morning, and everything will be fine (smile).

You can actually start at anytime, the only reason to wait for your period is so that you know you aren't pregnant and so that your next period will be around the time you would have had it normally. So once you start it, keep using it as per the instructions. The hormones will override your natural cycle. The patch will eventually control when you bleed. Your bleeding doesn't control when you wear the patch.
