How long after going off the birth control patch should I worry about side effects?
I have been off the patch now for about two years after taking it for a little over a year. I have seen the reports that they are causing deaths from blood clots, strokes, and heart attacks. I have tries to research it further but only come up with sites for law suits. Does anyone know if I still have a reason to be concerned after two years? Also I have not been able to get pregnant since taking it. I had a child before then and got pregnant right before I started taking it. But since then me and my husband have been trying for almost a year and got nothing. Could the patcj have caused a problem?

- I have been using the patch for about 1 month and it has givin me problem it gave me rashes from where it was I stoped using it. But I would talk to a doctor if you are seriously not feeling well about it.
- If you've been off the patch for two years, the odds of you experiencing any of these side effects are slim as the medication is no longer in your system. Being on birth control can also reduce your ability to conceive, but since you've been off of birth control for so long and are still having problems, I would bring it up to my primary care physician or a specialist.
