IUD + Birth control pills?
I have an IUD and now my Doctor wants to put me on Birth Control pills for PCOS. Could something go wrong since i'll be using so much birth control? He asked if i wanted to take out the IUD but i don't want to accidently forget to take the pill and get pregnant. What should i do? (I'm a girl, not sure how to change my avatar) This question is in this category because here people give more answers than in Pregnancy.

- OMG, the pill is not very reliable. In the first place, like you said, people forget to take it and then, in the second place, if you EVER take antibiotics then it can nullify the pill. I know 2 girls that got pregnant because they were on antibiotics and didn't realize that they needed a 2nd form of birth control. How old are you? Do you already have kids? Maybe you can just tie your tubes if you don't want more kids. I don't think there's a chemical released by the IUD so using both at the same time shouldn't hurt you but birth control pills have side effects. They can raise your blood pressure and stuff.
