- you can start taking birth control pills at any time. but it has side effects. better consult a good physician.
- Yes, it does not have to be a Sunday. I did not start mine on a Sunday. The pill packs contain week slips to stick on your pillpack for those who don't start on Sundays. Start the pack on the day three days before you'd like to start your period while on the pill. For example: If you want your period to start on a Sunday, start your pillpack on a Friday.
- When your doctor gives you the perscription he/she will tell you when to start taking them. Usually you will have a Sunday start--which is you start the pill pack the Sunday after your period starts even if you are still bleeding. Or you will have a First Day Start, which means you will start the first day of your period.
- You can start them at any time--doesn't matter what day of the week. Just be sure you are not pregnant.
- it depends on the pill you're gonna take, all of them come with a booklet that will tell you when to start, most of them have to be taken the first day of your period, also ask your gynecologyst for the best pill for you... don't use the ones that a friend is using, it's never the best answer
- when I went to the doctor she told me to start 3-4 after I start my period, so it all depends. Also, taking it on "sunday" doesn't mean you're protected on sunday. this being your first time you should wait around a month to use the pill as a primary contraceptive.
