Storing your birth control pills in a different container instead of the packaging it came in?

I dont want my mother finding out i use birth control so instead of having them in the dispenser it came in, i am putting them in a different little box incase she finds them. does that do anything to the pills? will it work less efficiently ? do not tell me im too young. im 17 years old and my mother is very uptight, this decision was my own and i do not want to be lectured on my age or that bc pills are bad for you.

  1. No this will cause no problem for the pills, provided you can remember to take them proberly. Most packaging has dates and stuff on to help you to remember if you've taken it or not. If you've got your own system set up though then no worries.
  2. your not too young at all i started bc at 15 and my mum put me on them jus so she knew i was being safe! as i had a bf! it wont do anything to them. they jus put them in the packets they come in coz they have the days on them. youl be fine. ur mum should be proud of u for being responsible and grown up about it.
  3. Buy a brand new pill container from the pharmacy, and store them in there. They will be perfectly safe
