  1. Yeah, definitely fine. If you get tempted to start having sex, remember the reasons you started taking the pill. :-)
  2. it definitely ok and safe. :D my one friend is on it to help with her acne. and i just got on it to help with my period cramps
  3. Yes. When I was a teenager, I was put on that for the same thing, and it worked.
  4. Yes, and your periods probably won't be as painful either.
  5. Yeah, many doctors prescribe the pill for these reasons. In october I was put on yaz to clear up my acne and make my period more comfortable ( I had really bad cramps and a heavy flow) Now that i'm on it I usually just skip my period because it's so much more convenient. Birth control will make your period more regular and hopefully take away some of the negative effects of your period. I never gained any weight or had any bad effects of the pill but that is different for everyone. When I began I had no intention of using the pill as my form of birth control (just the acne and period pain) but now I find it comforting to know that if I do have sex i'm protected against pregnancy.
  6. That is the reason most women start birthcontrol pills. so it is completely normal. I started when I was 16 to try to help regulate my periods. You may need to try a few if it doesn't help you. you usually have to try a pill for a few months to see if it is going to help you. I had to try four pills before I found one that was perfect for me. I am now 26. So best of luck.
  7. yeah, thats why i started taking them...
