  1. no my period wouldn't start until the fourth day of the placebo pills and it would last into my actual birth control pills. Its normal. Don't worry it may take a little bit for your body to get used to it. I wouldn't worry.
  2. It can take 2-3 months for a new birth control pill to "get regular". That is why you should use other forms of birth control for the 1st month at least, just to be sure.
  3. i take yaz also, and at first my body had a hard time adjusting. i didn't get my period till like the 3rd day of the placebo pills, and i would have spotting throughout the month. but now my period is very light and short. if you go through your white pills and start the next pack and still haven't gotten it then i would ask a health professional. if you have had unprotected sex recently then of course it is possible you are pregnant, but yeh sometimes the messed up period is normal with the pill.
  4. Its because you just started on the pills. If you are really worried you could always take a test but with some variety of pills I used to take my period wouldn't start until I started the next pack. It was really annoying.
  5. since you just started taking BC, you may not have a period this month. Or, if you have not finished taking the placebos, you may have a very light period starting late during the placebo week. I start my placebo pills on Monday, but won't expect my period to actually start until next Wed or Thurs. But since this is your first month taking BC, go ahead and take a home pregnancy test to be on the safe side if you've had unprotected sex this month. If can take up to 3 months of consistent, continued use to completely shut down ovulation in some women the first time they start BC. If you are not pregnant, use a backup form of protection for the next couple of months until you can be certain that you are not ovulating anymore.
  6. very common give your body at least 3 months too adjust to this pill. Every new pill takes a while for your system to kick in and yaz is supposed to stop or slow periods anyways...............gl
